From series bible and pilot to a full season, produced in-house in Shah Alam.

Short answer

A series is a different problem from a single video. The cost driver is not one episode, it is keeping characters, quality and schedule consistent across a season. Blindspot developed and produced Alif and Sofia, 104 episodes of three minutes each, entirely in-house, which is where our pipeline and review discipline came from.

Animated Series Production and Co-Production

Pipeline, not one-offs

Asset libraries, rigs and templates that make episode 80 as consistent as episode 1.

We own and produced a 104 episode series, not just client work.

Development support

Series bible, pilot and pitch material for funding, broadcasters and platforms.

Open to co-production

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do you produce other studios series?

Yes. We take co-production and service production work alongside our own IP.

How much does an animated series cost?

It depends on episode count, runtime and character complexity. Development and pilot are quoted first, then the season.

Can you produce a pilot only?

Yes. Many projects start with a pilot used to raise funding or pitch a broadcaster.

How long does an episode take?

Once the pipeline is built, episodes come out at a steady rate. The first episodes always take longest because the assets are being created.

Do you help with funding applications?

We can prepare the production material that funding bodies ask for. We do not handle the application itself.

What age group do you work in?

Our own series is preschool. The pipeline is not limited to that, but it is where our experience is deepest.

Can you work with an existing book or character?

Yes. Adapting a book or an existing character into a series format is a normal starting point.

Who owns the IP in a co-production?

That is agreed in writing before production. We work both as IP owner and as production partner.
